Introduction

In the present paper we report on the synthesis of target systens as depicted below: Reaction of o-amino-ester or -nitriles with our BMMA-type reagents gives access to a variety of new heterocyclic compounds with annelation of a pyrimidine moiety, but also with additional linear and angular fusion.
