We are indebted to Henry Rzepa, WATOC Communication Officer, for setting
up this efficient system for distributing announcements and information.
In addition, Paul Mezey has kindly agreed to serve as Editor of the new
WATOC Newsletter, which will provide further communication with the
WATOC members.
I also would like to express my gratitude to Eiji Osawa and to Keiji
Morokuma, as well as their Committees and associates, for the excellence
of the Toyohashi WATOC World Congress.
Plans for our 1996 Congress, to be held in a uniquely interesting city, are
well underway. Prof. Yitzhak Apeloig, The Technion, Haifa, will chair the
Scientic Program Committee, and Prof. Amiram Goldblum of the Hebrew
Univeristy, will lead the Organizing Committee. He has prepared the
following announcement:
The 4th Congress of WATOC will take place in Jerusalem, ISRAEL
Dates: 7-13 July 1996
A 5-day program will be offered to accompanying persons
and pre- and post- symposium tours will be available.
Those who are interested to be added to the mailing list
should write a short email message which includes
name, affiliation and address as well as phone and FAX numbers.
The message should be sent to AMIRAM@VMS.HUJI.AC.IL or, by FAX,
to 972-2-410740.
