Dr. Garry Rumbles
I am a senior research scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. My affiliation with the department is through a visiting chair that is associated with the Electronic Materials Group and the Centre for Electronic Materials and Devices (CEMD).
My research focuses on molecular materials, such as colloidal quantum dots and conjugated polymers. Investigations are aimed at understanding the electronic and optical properties of these materials and to evaluate their potential as active components of future photovoltaic solar cells.
