TERMENTRY
Terminology is a key part of TecML and ISO12620 has been used to provide
the terms for supporting it. A TERMENTRY consists of:
- An XVAR of TYPE="ID" to provide the ID. This should normally
correspond to (part of) the filename
- An XVAR with DICTNAME="TERM" to provide the term. This is the primary term
for the entry and may have included whitespace (e.g. "Cartesian coordinate").
- A optional (recommended) XHTML with BUILTIN="DEFINITION".
- Optional XHTML(s) with BUILTIN="NOTE" or BUILTIN="EXAMPLE".
- Optional XVAR(s) with DICTNAME=(an ISO12620 keyword).
- Internal crossreferences (entailed terms) of the type:
X.VAR TYPE="URL" BUILTIN="XREF"
whose content is a term.
- ADMIN with details of curation, etc.
