Dr. Antonio Garrido Montalban

Antonio Garrido Montalban studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences, Damstadt (Germany) and graduated in September 1991. He then went on to work with Professor Alexander McKillop at the University of East Anglia, Norwich and obtained his master and doctorate in Organic Chemistry in September 1992 and March 1995, respectively. He was immediately appointed as a research associate and soon thereafter co-Director of research within Professor Tony Barrett's group at Imperial College. In October 1998 he was appointed as a Fixed Term Lecturer in the newly created Synthesis section in the Department of Chemistry.
