Real-Life applications of XML

An eXtensible Annotating Chemical Editor (XACE) displayed within the Internet Explorer Browser and using a combination of XSLT defined transformations and the JME editor to display and edit metadata associated with the molecule. Some fields in the metadata are entered as annotations by the authors, others are quantities derived using the XSLT transformations. XACE is available at http://www.xml-cml.org/
