• ELF: Eight "outer" trisynaptic ELF basins (eight Li₃ three-centre bonds) = 2.97e
• • 2.97e "expelled" from octet are associated only with Li.
• The "outer" basins have an ELF value (0.71) approaching that of an electron gas!
  • Avoidance of octet expansion by inducing a molecular electride!
