Dear WATOC members.

We meet as a body every three years, and watch splendid talks. Have
you ever wondered how nice it would be to have a permanent record
of these talks, and perhaps catch up on some that due to parallel
sessions you missed? We now we have the chance to do this.

Using WWW, the talk can be written in html, mounted on a server,
and viewed anywhere in the world. I invite anyone who
has written, or is thinking of writing such a talk to submit the URL
to a "Talks" home page, on
http://www.ch.ic.ac.uk/talks/

In the first instance, mail me with the URL. Iit would help greatly
if you could put WWW TALKS in the subject field.
We can all share your talk at our leisure (minus jokes. Mind you,
since audio can be included, even those are welcome!). To set the
ball rolling, I include two talks of mine already given, and our
contribution to the 1st European Conference in Computational
Chemistry in Nancy in May.

Soon, you will be able to register your talk automatically by entering
the "forms" page and typing in your details. I will not even have to
do any work! Might I suggest that registration for WATOC 96 is
conducted by this mechanism!

Please send your thoughts and comments to
watoc@ic.ac.uk
so we can all share them.
