An update to the update."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"kcite-section\" kcite-section-id=\"7553\">\n<p>A third digital repository has been added to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ch.imperial.ac.uk\/rzepa\/blog\/?p=7290\" target=\"_blank\">the two<\/a> I described before. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chempound.net\" target=\"_blank\">Chempound<\/a> is a free open-source repository which (unlike DSpace and Figshare) was developed specifically for chemistry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/chempound.ch.ic.ac.uk:8090\/content\/d875e45c-9186-4256-9066-df9509023978\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-7554\" title=\"chempound\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ch.imperial.ac.uk\/rzepa\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/chempound.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It carries more semantic information (in the form of an <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Resource_Description_Framework\" target=\"_blank\">RDF triple declaration<\/a>), which allows <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/SPARQL\" target=\"_blank\">SPARQL<\/a> queries on the entry to be performed.<\/p>\n<p>Our original <a href=\"https:\/\/spectradspace.lib.imperial.ac.uk:8443\/dspace\/handle\/10042\/13\" target=\"_blank\">DSpace repository<\/a>\u00a0is also being tweaked to allow additional information to be added to existing entries; in particular if an entry is linked to in a journal publication, the DOI of that article is inserted into the DSpace descriptions. It is also relatively simply to duplicate the information in one repository by re-depositing it into another.
