From Lk = T + W ⇔ 4n+2/4n, it follows that a novel writhing isomerism is possible. Any integer value of Lk could:

1. comprise non-integer values of T and W.
2. with T and W having either the same sign (overwinding)
3. or opposite signs (underwinding)
