Canon Photocopier web interfaceDocuments stored in mailboxes on the copiers are viewed and downloaded via a web interface. You need a plugin to view documents stored on the copiers.Installing the JBIG pluginThis is available for PCs at \\chnts1\winfiles\browser plugins and viewers\JBIG viewer Pasting the green bit above into an Explorer window should produce this: Double click the setup for your preferred browser. For Mac users the plugin is on Public Utilities:printers/postscript:canon. Run the installer from there. Unfortunately it only installs into IE, you have to copy the plugin from the IE to Netscape plugin folder. |
The web interfaceGo to http://canon3300.ch.ic.ac.uk or http://canon5000.ch.ic.ac.uk as appropriate. Whever you are asked for a user name and password you should type your copier ID number and password if you have one, just as you would to access the machine itself. |
