Creating Animated GIF Images
The GIF89a specification allows for a GIF image to contain multiple frames, together
with a script describing how to display these. The Netscape 2.0 browser supports this
format. To create such an image, proceed as follows;
- Find a Macintosh
- Create a sequence of PICT files, or a Movies. This image was created using
Chem3D Pro, and saved as a Movie.
- A quicktime movie can be expanded using a Hypercard stack called
QT <-> PICS/PICT into a series of PICT files.
- These can be converted to an animated GIF using GifBuilder
