Robert Cordina is Maltese and moved to London to start his PhD in October 2005. He graduated with a 1st class B.Sc.(Hons.) in
Chemistry and Physics in 2004 from the University of Malta and then spent a year working at Novartis Pharma in Basel,
Switzerland. His PhD research is towards the total synthesis of a natural organic molecule, in vitro and in lipid bilayers.
With the latter method he is trying to mimic the biological synthetic pathway. His hobbies are cooking, choir singing, reading
and swimming (whenever he goes back home!)
