Nathalie Lebrasseur is French and joined the Barrett group in February 2006. Her current work concerns the total synthesis of
lactonamycin. Before coming to London Nathalie completed her PhD on the application of the hypervalent iodine-mediated arenols
dearomatization on the synthesis of angularly-oxygenated angucyclinone antibiotics, in the group of Professor Stéphane Quideau
at the university of Bordeaux (France). In her spare time, Nathalie enjoys shopping in London, tracking down new typical pubs
and obviously drinking good french red wine.
