Ana started her postdoctorial studies in the Barrett group in October 2005 where she is working on the synthesis of new
porphyrazines for PDT application, a modern and promising topic. She completed her PhD at University of Minho, Braga, Portugal,
where she worked on the synthesis of psoralen analogues, for PUVA application. Ana completed her degree in Physics and Chemistry,
teaching branch, in 1997, also at University of Minho. In her spare time Ana enjoys travelling and sports, especially jogging
and trekking.
